I believe we need to speak up , make public debate about it. The focus is too often made on the the victim survivor critically on her ability to parent, be a mother and not on her support system to create an ideal environment for it to take place.
Emma, your writings continue this extraordinary uncovering of wisdom and truth - this is an uncannily true expose of what happened to me 30+ years ago - finally at last here is a calmly explained and completely rational description of the madness and private horror that was my experience of early motherhood - it follows the last few posts on this site that have incrementally exposed the sick reality of what was taking place, and that i have struggled to understand or explain or at times even believe (because it really does start to make you feel crazy).
So other than just rave on about how amazing it is that you have uncovered this truth, my question to you and others who engage with this blog is: What do the rest of us do with this? How do we make it the basis for constructive change and justice?
